How to make Vietnamese Beef Roll - Cha Bo.
Ingredients, make 1 lb beef roll
- 1.072 lb = 487 gr beef chuck pot roast
- 1.7 oz = 48 gr pork fat
- 3 cloves = 10 gr fresh garlic
- 2 Tbsp = 16 gr cornstarch
- 2 tsp = 8 gr sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp = 40 gr good fish sauce,
- 1/2 tsp = 3 gr pepper corn lightly crack
- 1 hand full of fresh dills
- * 6 Tbsp full = 80 gr ice cold water
- 1/2 tsp + 1/8 tsp = 3 gr baking soda,
* Boil pork fat
- 1 1/2 cups = 360 ml water
- 1/2 tsp = 2 gr kosher salt
- * Banana leaves and cotton string for wrapping.
